Prof. Dr. Tim Schröder
Chair of Integrated Quantum Photonics
Tim Schröder is a Professor of Physics with a joint affiliation between Humboldt University, Berlin, where he leads the Chair of Integrated Quantum Photonics, and the Ferdinand-Braun Institute where he leads the Joint Lab Diamond Nanophotonics. This joint affiliation supports the combined fundamental and applied research ambitions developed within his research team. Previously, he has held positions with international research institutions, including as Research Scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, US, and as Assistant Professor at the Niels Bohr Institute, Denmark.
His work has been published in journals including Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Physics, Physical Review X, and Advanced Materials. Tim Schröder also contributes to technological development through his innovation activity, with five granted patents and several additional applications submitted.
